It seems to be the beginning of an idea and maybe he could have come back to this song to flesh out the lyrics had he not moved on to Faces. I don't think it made it on to Faces because it seems like not as much thought/effort went into the lyrics, compared to the songs on Faces. Song 3 "Do You Have A Destination?" - I see why this didn't make Faces, but it definitely reminds me of a song that may have contributed to it's creation. Song 2 "The Song That Changed Everything" ft SZA & Thundercat - 2 minute intro which is beautiful. I'm sure if I was high I could come up with some wild concept of what it means, but because I'm sober I just think he thought it sounded like a cool intro. Song 1 "Tambourine Dream" - Simply just the tambourine being played for 30 seconds or so. I don't claim to be a music expert, just a big fan of Mac. Now I'm going to listen to the album and give my thoughts about the songs. BMZ personally doubted the tracklist is fake, but rather an early rough concept of the tracklist. Some fans have speculated the tracklist is fake, with Mac's manager Q suggesting they might have never got a tracklist for it down and his DJ Clockwork playing Dollar Pony Rides when he was asked to play a song from Balloonerism. The album is certainly not finished, with some songs having rougher mixes than other and some verses are left unfinished. I won't be posting any links to the album. I wanted to share my thoughts on the album as I went through it. This man's music has helped me through a hell of a lot, so please forgive me. I've not listened to any before this, I just couldn't pass up on the opportunity to listen to a new Mac album. Before I go on, I am gonna be a massive hypocrite and say I don't condone listening to any leaks. I finally found a way to listen to Balloonerism today and I just couldn't pass up on the opportunity. I am desperate for a new Mac album, as selfish as that is.
But as time has gone on, my hope has turned into desperation to hear it. I was hoping it was going to be officially released, and at one point Twitter made me believe it was going to be. I've never really wanted to listen to any Mac leaks until I heard about the leaked album Balloonerism last year.
